Have you ever had one of those days where you realize how fast time goes by. I was looking at pic of when my little cousins and I realized they are about to be teenagers. I can remember when they were born.... but I know people are thinking the same about me. I mean who would have thought I would be married and have a kid??
When I was in high school I was the one that never really dated anyone, I would just hang out with a group. All the guys where friends. When I did go out on dates it was just cause there wasn't anything else to do. I know that sounds bad but I wasn't in to the whole boyfriend thing.
Once I graduated I meet The soldier. I knew he was different. I we started out as friends first with the whole flirting thing going on. Then we decided to try the dating thing. My parents kid me that they found out I was dating The Soldier from my uncle (he works with the soldiers dad). We dated for a while then he went off to basic training, then AIT, and finally off to Korea. While he was in Korea we got married and I went off to collage. Finally The soldier came home and we where off to Texas. We lived there for about a year and he was off to Iraq. That was the hardest day EVER!!!! All of my family was worried about me because I was 6 months pregnant, and ever time he would leave I would get really depressed and would not eat or get out of bed for like days.... So The Soldiers dad came out to stay with me and help me move ( I was moving home to my parents so they could help with the baby). I am thankful every day for my family if it wasn't for them i would have never made it through the deployment. Well my son came early and The Soldier missed the birth....but my mom was there and she stayed with me all week. (I had to have an emergency c-section so I had to stay a week). I am sooo gratefull that she was there, I don't know what I would have done with out her. q Well once I finally got home The Soldier came and surprised me....THE BEST SURPRISE EVER!!! But with a deployment when there is a hello a good bye follows close behind.

Well that dread full day came and we had to say good bye once again..... and I thought the first one was bad. This one was worse of all.. Not long after he left we found out that he was getting extended and would be 15 months instead of 12. Sooooo like 10 months later my friend Sarah came out and helped me move back to Texas.... WOOOT WOOT..... that meant my Soldier was coming home soon!!! Finally that day came and it was the BEST EVER!!!!

I remember the day he left and the day he came home. You were a good strong Army wife! :) Hugs!
I am peeking into your blog from another one. I love your blog and reading about your life. You are doing a great job on it. I will check it out some more as time allows. I have a close friend who's husband is in the military too. I see a lot of comparisons... (he is Air Force though). Tell your husband "Thank you for what he does" and to you... Thank you too.. for the sacrifices made for our country by you and your family. It is truly appreciated!!!!
